2011 Seven Rivers District
Pinewood Derby® Information

The Seven Rivers District Pinewood Derby® is going to be held at a location to be determined on March 27th, 2011.
Pre-Registration will be held in January.

EVERYONE can race!

This includes Cub Scouts, Brothers, Sisters, Moms, Dads, Uncles, Aunts, Grandmothers, etc.

There are 4 racing divisions ALL with TROPHIES
District Championship Division

Each Cub Scout Pack may send the 5 Cub Scouts who finished 1st overall in each of the ranks of Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelo I’s and Webelo’s II in the Speed category of their Pack's Pinewood Derby to compete in the Speed category at the District Race.   If a Scout cannot attend the District Race, that Pack's committee may make a substitution at their own discretion.  Packs with rosters larger than or equal to 48 scouts as of 12/31/09 will be allowed to add scouts at the rate of 1 scout per 8 on the roster.
Open Youth Division

ALL youth under 11 years old (Webelos 2 Scouts who raced in their Pack's derby are eligible even if they are 11 Yrs. Old and/or who've crossed into a troop)

Open "Unlimited" Division

ALL youth and adults12 years and older.
Cubmaster Challenge Division

ALL District Cubmasters

 
District Design Competition (Non-Racing)

Any scout can enter in the District Design Competition (non-racing).  Entrants must declare which design category they would like to be considered for.

Please print a copy of the REVISED 11-12-2010 rules . These should be followed by your Packs to ensure disqualification DOES NOT happen at the District event. (RULES)

Derby Car Inspection Sheet - This is the inspection sheet used by the District Inspection Team. (Vehicle inspection form)
